This was a quicky picture I made for my long-time friend and fellow Mythos nut, Bill, for Christmas. For some strange reason, I'd had both Renaissance Art (all those zillions of "Madonna and Child" paintings) and "In His Daughter's Darkling Womb" by Tina Jens on the brain. I decided that I needed to make an ironic sort of hommage to both... And I needed to recover from the making of my more traditional, happy, pretty Christmas card.

I made this with Prismacolor pencil over a watercolor wash.

Excellent! How did this one slip by me? I found it on the Pickman's Model page.
